Home Remedies and Natural Skin Products that Help Dissolve Warts

by Valerie DeVette

A wart is a small, abnormal growth of cells that can appear almost anywhere on the body. Warts are quite common and contagious. This is largely due to the fact that they are caused by a viral infection that can easily spread from one person to another. Warts can disappear after awhile, but they can also recur.

There are various types of warts that vary in size, shape and affected area. These common warts often include plantar warts, flat warts, filiform warts, genital warts, mosaic warts, and periungual warts. These types of warts are usually caused by Type 1, 2, and 3 HP viruses.

Fortunately, treatment options are basically the same for all cases. The most common and effective treatment for wart removal is salicylic acid. It can take up to 3 months to remove a wart using this form of treatment.

Another type of treatment used to help remove warts is cryosurgery. It should take about three sessions to remove a common wart with cryosurgery. However, up to a dozen session will be required if you want to remove foot warts.

Electrodissection is also a possibility. This procedure consists of removing the wart with a heated, metal probe. Another type of procedure used to help remove warts is called surgical curettage or scraping.

Some natural skin products and home remedies can also help you eliminate warts in a gentler manner.

Apply fresh Aloe vera juice directly to the wart. This product will not only help dissolve warts, but it will also help tone up the skin.

Foods containing proteolytic enzymes, such as papyas, banana peels, pineapples and figs, also help treat warts by dissolving them in a gentle manner. Simply mash up the fruit or peel, apply it to the area, and tape a bandage around it.

Warts can also be treated using weeds. One weed in particular is milkweed which has often been used to remove warts. The fresh sap is applied to the wart once a day. It is non-irritating and does not affect the surrounding skin.

Another way of treating warts effectively is by changing your diet. You can increase the amount of sulfur in your diet by eating more asparagus, citrus fruits, eggs, garlic and onions. This will help reduce the appearance of warts.

Do, however, keep in mind that most wart treatments are lengthy, so you need to be patient and consistent. Fortunately, warts can be treated fairly easily, but if for some reason they do recur you can still treat them using a natural form of treatment that we have yet to mention.

Warts treatments include applying salicylic acid, cryotherapy and electrodissection. However, BIOSKINCARE is an excellent skin care cream that can be used for warts removal. This is all possible because it is made with snail serum, a potent, natural ingredients that can help promote healthy skin regeneration and the dissolution of damaged and abnormal tissue.
